A lovely trip to the park.

After school, Elodie took the bus down to her family tea house to work. Even though she did not commute from her university, she felt like she might as well. Elodie spent a good amount of time in the city and with her family when she wasn't doing schoolwork. Now that her shift was over, she wanted to spend the rest of the day relaxing as best as she possibly could. Perhaps she'd meet someone new today.

There were a lot of problems weighing down on her mind lately, but whenever she came to the park, all her problems vanished temporarily. In the park, she could dream up whatever world she wanted to ponder about. All the nonsense about cyborgs and evil corporations were foreign to her. Elodie would much rather live her life simply and artistically than bother with the reality of such crime and violence around her.

Right now, Elodie was laying down on her back in the lush green grass. She looked up into the blue sky, not a cloud in sight. Smiling to herslef, Elodie let her eyes flutter until they closed shut. Part of her felt like she might fall asleep. Everything was so peaceful right now and her mind was still. Elodie breathed in and out slowly and silently. She became in tune with her senses and aware of all the sensations and sounds of nature around her.
